Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Three facsimiles of plays from the first folio Shakespeare (As You Like It, Antony & Cleopatra and Henry V). Each has a short introduction by J Dover Wilson. The publisher of the first two is Faber & Gwyer, the last one (Henry V) is Faber and Faber - although each book has the same format. There is no publication date for any of them. Each comes with a dust jacket. Condition (general) - the condition of all three is similar (both the dust jackets and books). For this reason the following comments about condition apply more or less equally to all three; unless stated otherwise. Condition (djs): some closed tears and tanning; the latter especially along the spine. The tearing and scuffing is more pronounced on the As You Like It and Antony and Cleopatra editions. (The dj for the Antony and Cleopatra book, while intact, has a log closed tear along the spine). Condition (books): Mild to moderate tanning throughout with occasional spotting (esp. on preliminary and final pages). The FFEP has an ink signature - dated April 1947, Bournemouth (see example image). Unpaginated (pages are facsimiles). Size: between imperial octavo (8vo) and quarto (4to).
