End pages have moderate age-toning and smudging with previous owners writing. Page edges have moderate age-toning and smudging with foxing. Interior pages are age-toned and smudged. This could have light cosmetic flaws, but remains in good condition. No dust jacket included with this book. Secure packaging for safe delivery.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Reprint. 230pp +[1] adverts, with many illustrations in the text, plus the 12 colour plates. With the author's signed 1941 gift inscription to the front free endpaper. Contents clean and fresh. Both front and back endpapers have small corner stains from former sellotape which had been used to secure a plastic cover. The upside of this is that the blue cloth binding is in very good condition, clean and bright, spine ends crimped. A very nice copy. [nb See also our signed copy of Brittlewings, by the same author].
