After a general introduction, individual chapters deal with particular authors, followed by a general survey of later or lesser writers. some of the early authors included are; C.S. Lewis, James Blish, Walter M. Miller, Jr., L. Ron Hubbard, Hal Clement, Ross Rocklynne, Poul Anderson, Cyril M. Kornbluth and E.E."Doc" Smith among others. Very good condition, boards have a slight bow, binding is tight, interior pages are very clean. Corners are bumped, page edges are toning due to shelf sitting.
