Then follow chapters on the care and training of ponies and on learning to ride them. Some chapters in the book are devoted to foxhunting, beginning with a short historical survey of Foxhunting through the Ages. Then follow chapters on Foxhounds and their life in Kennels, Behavior in the Hunting Field and Riding to Hounds. The section concludes with a realistic description of a day's hunting which can be enjoyed a boy (or girl) home for half-term.
