Undated, but likely the date penned in by the previous owner, 1924. Two volumes, as pictured, top edges gilt; b/w frontispieces. Both volumes show light wear, corners lightly bumped & rubbed; ink name & date inside each front cover, irregular tanning to front endsheets and minor paperclip damage to rear endsheets of volume 1, pencil notes on the rear free endsheet of volume 2. Text clean; [2], iv, 743; iv, 749 pages. Size: Duodecimo. Set.
