Good to very good in dust jacket (in fresh mylar protector), the name 'Jaqueline Kennedy' is penned on a rear flypage and there is some tape residue/peeling nearby where the previous owner taped in a picture of Ms. Kennedy for some unknown reason (picture since removed); else a clean copy. Dust jacket has several closed tears and some general light wear but will look decent in the mylar protector. The original hospital was built on 15 acres (6.1 ha) of property on the corner of West San Carlos Street between Meridian Ave and Race Street. The O'Connors were very well known as being benefactors of many charitable organizations. The O'Connors' first thoughts were to build an elderly home, however, the demands of the community at that time was for a hospital.
