Hardcover. Condition: read description. No Jacket. 260 pages (Latin text) + 256 pages (notes) + folding map of Italy. Small slits to head and base of spine cloth (mainly around 1 cm and under small slits). General wear and light fading to sound cover. 'Old' scotch type clear tape has been applied to inner edge on both front and back end papers (hinges once broken??). One fold of the note pages is slightly loose. Sound usable hardback. No dust jacket. Quinti Horati Flacci Opera. The Complete Works of Horace. This is the Longmans 1867 edition.

Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. xviii, [2] 256pp. Folding map and frontispiece. Binding is green cloth covered boards with gilt titling and ruling to spine. Blind stamp ruling to edges of boards. Generally rather worn. Hinges tender with gauze showing. This is a heavy book and we will request extra postage if ordered from outside the UK. 327750.
