The plates have a bit of edge toning but are generally very clean. Bound in a fairly plain binding but overall a very nice clean copy of a very scarce and important book. Lada Mocarska 113. The descriptions with commentaries include a total of 232 species in the Alaskan coastal area. Lada Mocarski indicates the book was issued in 10 parts from 1830 to 1841 but I have never seen or heard of an example in parts.
