Tan cloth with titling gilt on the spine, and gold stamped dog design on the front cover, top-edge stained tan; cream colored paper, printed dustjacket with designs by A. L. Ripley. The back cover shows some light buckling to the cloth, age-related tanning to spine, endpapers, some tan spotting to a few pages; the dustjacket shows tanning, dusting with some splitting, chipping to the upper and lower edges.
