The back cover shows some light buckling to the cloth, age-related tanning to spine, endpapers, some tan spotting to a few pages; the dustjacket shows tanning, dusting with some splitting, chipping to the upper and lower edges. The fragile dustjacket is in an acid-free dustjacket protector. With the bookplate of Cleveland, Ohio based book collector, William G. Mather (1857-1951), on the front paste-down endpaper.
