Undated but probably circa 1930-1940 pharmaceutical trade card per its graphic art style. Stiff paper card, H 9cm x L 17.75cm, printed on one side only. Left two-thirds of card features b/w photograph image of several Roche medicine bottles with an Allonal bottle foremost in foreground and text "The safe non-narcotic remedy for pain and insomnia" printed in white near top edge right of center. White, silver, black, and red diagonal stripes with Roche emblem separate image from bottom right gray triangular block which has white text of "Allonal" and "Roche." 2cm deep patch of surface peeling near top left corner with some creasing as well. Some abrasion to same edge on card's blank verso. A good copy. Allonal, the first synthetic drug manufactured by Hoffmann-La Roche Inc., was an analgesic sedative and hypnotic and was a primary product for the pharmaceutical company for many years upon its introduction in 1920.
