First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 12mo, half thin cloth, printed embossed pictorial wrappers, 63pp. Many of the recipes are accompanied by mugshots and brief biographical profiles of the men who created them. An altogether not fully realized accomplishment, which seems to aim as much to promote the chefs and their respective restaurants as it works to elaborate on their recipes. In effect, possibly the earliest American compilation of fancy food preparation emanating from celebrity chefs. Some of the production work on setting up a page appears amateurish. Nearly a Very Good copy.
