This offering is an older copy of Toby Twirl Tales , No. 1, The Weeping Dragon, The Imp of Mischief written by Sheila Hodgetts and illustrated by E. Jeffrey. The book was published by Sampson Low, Marston & Co., Ltd. in, perhaps, 1953 and appears to be a First Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. This is NOT an ex-library copy though it does have the name of a previous owner written on the front paste down end page. The book is in good + condition and has no dust jacket. It's 5 5/8" by 7 7/16" and has about 80 pages with precious color illustrations and two stories told in verse. Thank you!

Date circa, and an annual that depicts Toby and his friends frightened of a ghost on the front cover. The top quarter of the coverbackground is yellow and the rest is light blue. The contents show mild age and the puzzles have been tidily filled in. The pages remain well-bound and vibrant.
