Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. The Long House. New York. 1956. 192 pages. First edition; first printing. Binding and hinges are sound. Endpapers are clean aside from scant, light foxing. Blue panels show light soiling, a faint bleish and uneven toning. Albert Hoyt Hobbs was a professor emeritus of the University of Pennsylvania and self-identified 'conservative sociologist' when such a thing existed. An uncommon title, as most of these found their way into college libraries; but not this one. An uncommon VG copy; first edition; first printing.
