Pages are clean and unmarked, without wrinkles, stains or creases. The book's exterior is also spotless. There is light wear to top and bottom edges of the spine, heavier wear to corner tips. The dust jacket shows very little soiling but has significant wear to edges and seams, a couple of tiny holes, and several tears, the longest of which is about 2.5". Book and dust jacket will be bubble-wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.

Cantor Gilbert was the preeminent singer of modern american music in mid and late 20th century together with Jan de Gaetani, and was also a Fulbright scholar.
