Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st English Language Edition. All vols. in dark brown blind-stamped cloth with gilt sp. lettering and Sydenham logo centre front. Vol.I outer back edge has 3 cm central cloth loss, a little loss to top fr. outer corner and other corners a little rubbed or bumped, otherwise clean and unworn, Vols.… I and III both clean and bright, minimally worn bar slight rubbing to some extremities, sp. ends all good. All edges red. Vol.I: series half-title giving this as Vol. CVI + xviii + 710, no ills.; tanning spots and patches through to p.1 and p. 687 to end, mostly flight but heavier towards ends, this par for the course for this series; Vol. II. series half-title giving this as Vol. CXII + xii + 681, no ills.; front gutter has thin paper split, tanning problem a bit worse than usual to front with odd marginal spots up to c. p.43, mostly quite light but some pp. fairly heavy (though not t.p.), end only lightly affected bar the end-papers; Vol.III: series half-title giving this as Vol. CXVII + xv + 780; minimal tanning but yellow paste-downs and facing inner sides of end-papers have central greyish discoloration. Top edge Vol. II has some ingrained dustiness, all tight and free from internal markings. Weighs 3.25 kg. unpacked so allow for significant additional shipping costs especially outside UK. 14 cm x 22 cm.
