Condition: VG. 3rd reprint (1st-1901). ix+334+(3, pub.'s education and philosophy lists), top edge gilt; early small eraseable pencil dated sig. top t.p. otherwise clean, tight & unmarked internally with good end gutters in clean fairly bright unworn russet cloth covers - spine just a tad dull perhaps. A nice copy of this major Herbartian text.
