Illustrated with numerous full page engraved plates plus smaller text illustrations,of engravings, drawings and diagrams etc. Illustrated by Charles Whymper and Captain R.M. Alexander and from photographs. 5.5 X 7.5 inches. The leather shoulder on the front board is stamped "Vancroft Farm" in gilt. There are some scuffs and rubbing to the leather corners, one corner is bumped. .Very good, and very clean throughout, with a very sound and solid binding.…
