It includes orders written at Half Way Brook, about…7 miles east of Fort Edward, where the First Battalion under Brigadier General Ruggles, also of Massachussets, was stationed. the orders run a month, from June to July 1759, while the Journal continues before it and onward, into later 1760. A valuable look into provincial American troops in the last campaign of the French & Indian War.
