The recipient was John Wodehouse, 1st Earl of Kimberley, Liberal politician who served as Foreign Secretary, Secretary of State for India, Secretary of State of the Colonies and various other positions between 1852 and 1895. With the Kimberley bookplate below the author's inscription. Overall condition is Good Plus.
