James, b/w plates, illustrations, Glossary, Index, and large foldout two-sided sheet (map on recto and tables on verso) inserted within rear pastedown pocket - Library of Congress catalog calls for two sheets to be present in pocket so evidently one sheet is missing. Author Harrison S. Kerrick was a Captain (later rising to Colonel) in the Coast Artillery Corps, U.S. Army, and was also Division Superintendent of Schools, Philippine Islands, 1901.
