Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Gilt-decorated green buckram; 8vo; 416 + 1pp ads; top edge gilt, others untrimmed; illustrated with b/w photos plus drawings by A.B Frost & others. With detailed sections on the Atlantic and Pacific salmons and the trouts on America with locations, tackle choices, angling techniques, etc. plus a chapter on tying artificial flies. One of the more interesting volumes in the uniformly bound American Sportsman's Library Series. This copy in good condition with mild cover wear, some plates lightly foxed, ink presentation to front free endpaper o/w internally clean. Former copy of Catskill legend Harry Darbee with his bookplate affixed to front pastedown.
