This is a Signed, First Edition hardcover book with 242 pages including many illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a dedication written on the first end paper and the author signed the title page. There is a faint stain on the upper edge of the pages but otherwise the pages are clean with no tears. The copyright page shows 1950 as the published date. The title page states First Printing. The dust jacket is about 95% intact with a couple of one inch chips along the edges and there is a two inch closed tear on the front along the spine. The DJ also shows some moderate edgewear and light soiling. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
