A short octavo format hardcover bound handsomely in black cloth and with gilt lettering and ruling to front cover, pasted-on illustrated paper label, quite fine. Sumptuous interior and with 16 illustrations interior in black-and white and full color, and with captions, quite fascinating. Previous owner's inscription, neatly rendered but leading to light ghosting opposite. 92 pp. Edition not stated, nor date of publication.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Volume One : No jacket; viii 216 pages; the fore-edeg and the preliminaries are foxed. The boards are rubbed, the front one and the spine lightly; the back one quite badly.Volume Two: The jacket is foxed, ripped and torn; the boards rubbed, badly at the front, less so the back one; the preliminaries and fore-edge are foxed. Internally both volumes are in excellent condition, clean, unmarked and solid. Customers please note this is a very heavy two volume set which will attract additional postage.
