Contact seller5-star sellerThis stage actress debuted as "Mary" in "Annie Get Your Gun" in 1946, and is often remembered for playing Fiorello H. LaGuardia's first wife in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical play "Fiorello!" in 1959. Signed program, 5½" X 8½", 16pp, Boston, MA, 1947 March 11. Near fine. Program for the Colonial Theatre's production of "Bare…foot Boy with Cheek," written by Max Schulman and directed by George Abbott, starring Nancy Walker and Red Buttons. Front cover depicts Nancy Walker and Billy Redfield, and at the bottom of this Hanley signs large and bold in green ink. Hanley portrayed Clothilde Pfefferkorn, as the cast list page shows, and for this early effort she won a Theater World award. Nice piece from early in her career.
