Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. I'm not certain whether this is a first edition. 2000 is on the copyright page. There are no other dates. The gray covers of the book are exceptionally clean. There is a hint of color fade at the top and bottom margins. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. There is light color fade at the bottom edge of the spine. There is a little nick at the top edge of the front cover. The edges are otherwise in perfect condition. The page edges are very clean. There is one speck on the bottom page edge. The spine is very slightly slanted forward. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The red inside covers and end papers are very clean. The interior of the book is in very good condition. The pages are exceptionally clean. I'm not seeing any soiling at all. There is the not unexpected amber colored toning at the margins of these glossy pages. I don't see any creasing. There are no markings. There are no attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It too is very clean. It does have some crinkling at the top edge of the spine. There are also a few places where there is a very mild semi-crease. The flaps are in solid shape, very clean. They too have the amber colored toning off their top and bottom edges. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. 'This beautifully illustrated volume, published to accompany the largest Blake exhibition ever mounted, closely examines Blake's vision, personal mythology, political views, and highly idiosyncratic painting techniques.'.
