This journal reveals what he saw, whom he saw, and whether he was sore. The diarist was accompanied by Mrs. Smith and they put-up at a moderate-sized shack in the Strand know to Londoners as the Savoy. Of course, Mr. Smith made it his business to see what was going on at such places as the Tower of London, and other well-known sights.
