Third printings (both volumes) of an edition published in 1973. Hardcovers. Top and fore edges slightly foxed, otherwise very good in very good price-clipped dustjackets, spine backgrounds a touch faded (not affecting the lettering). A fine seletion handsomely illustrated in b/w by Sendak. Four of the tales are translated by poet Randall Jarrell. These books, heavy as a pair, will cost more to send overseas, than any default postage rate noted.

Both books come in an orange coloured box, slipcase, which has wear, but still acts as good storage and protection for the books. Volume I has 168 pages and Volume II has pages 169 to 332 page. All pages in both books, are in really good, clean and readable condition.
