Encuadernación de tapa blanda. Condition: Muy bien. In-4. #1 Oct 1951, #10 Jan 1954. Wrappers. Collaborators : E. Mira y Lopez, Alberto Seguin, Jose Bleger, Iracy Doyle, Austregesilo de Mendoca, Among others. The Revista Latinoamericana de Psiquiatría is published by Dr. Gregorio Bermann in Cordoba (Argentina), in 1951; it issues eleven numbers until 1954. Within the circle of this Journal and around the figure of Bermann, arise a left discourse, close to the line of the Argentine Communist Party, that exceeds the psychiatric reform issues and tries to extend its influence to the Iberoamerican world. The ideological interventions that emerge in the climate of the «cold war», dealing with the peace international movement and the calls to condemn the United States role in the postwar era; but also with the expressions of the «partisanship» in science, inspired by Lysenko s thesis on genetics, focusing on psychoanalysis, phenomenological trends in psychiatry and the discussions of Pavlov's school.
