Contents clean, no inscriptions, edges gently toned, jacket with a few small nicks and creased tears, chipped to foot of spine. Shows well. A very good copy. Adventure caper featuring the crime fighter 'Norman Conquest (a forerunner of Ian Fleming's James Bond), who lived in a London penthouse and enjoyed fast cars and fancy gadgets. A total of 51 Conquest books were published from 1938-1969.

One of the author's scarcest titles under the Victor Gunn pseudonym, rare in presentation state.
