This edition from 1924 by John C. Winston has 323 pages + a Preface by the Authors, illustrated with a colorful frontispiece, decorative endpapers, & 11 color or duotone glossy, full-page plates by Frank Godwin. Octavo has black cloth-covered boards with a colorful front paper pastedown, stamped in (somewhat faded) gilt lettering to spine. Condition is VG- (minus): very clean, with minor rubbing to extremities & mild bumping to corners & both ends of spine. Slight split to cloth about mid-spine to front gutter. Pages creamy white & unmarked save for former owner's name in neat pen to ffep. Mild-moderate tanning. Binding strong & straight, both hinges intact.
