PIX agency label and stamps of photographer Dominic on the verso. Basis for the 1969 film directed by David Giles. Olivier and McEwan would reprise their roles in the film, while Stephens would be replaced by actor Robert Lang. From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969.
