As new condition glossy color illustrated boards with brown spine, maroon front cover lettering and beige spine lettering. The left margin of each left side page contains roughly six Shakespeare quote, and the right side of many of the pages of the open book either contains a beautiful full color painting from a particular Shakespeare play with an accompanying quote, OR a blank page with lines to write "Important Events" etc. Unpaginated.

Hardcover. Condition: Very good. A volume in the "Dicks' Celebrated Works" series. Undated, but OCLC gives a date of 1888 for a nearly identical edition (publisher listed as "J. Dicks"). 136 pp, printed in double columns, bound in paper-covered boards with a mounted sheet of light orange paper on the front board (appears to be the front wrapper of a softcover edition) printed with the title and an illustration. Spine label partially perished. Binding tight, text clean. An uncommon edition.
