The volume brings together studies from the circle of Streadbeck's friends, pupils and colleagues, whose common interest in knowledge is German and Germanic linguistics as well as literary topics from the Baroque to the present day. The intention is to pay appropriate tribute to the researcher and teacher Arval L. Streadbeck, which at the same time - and especially in the diversity of its thematic and methodological approaches - can be regarded as a remarkable new publication in the field of international German studies.".
