Signed by George Best on the title page: "Best Wishes/ George Best/ 25th SEPT 81". Laid in are two mint Hibernian programmes for the match between Hibernian and San Jose Earthquakes (George Best was playing for San Jose) on October 5, 1981. Best transferred from Hibernian to San Jose in April 1980. There is a full page article (with extracts) about the biography on page 5 of the programme, a picture from the Scotsman on page 6 and a summary of his career on page 7. Scarce with these attributes. Laid in also is the original receipt from John Menzies (dated 25/09/81 where this book was originally sold).
