Blue publisher's cloth. 316 pp. Cloth faded on edges and spine. Binding sound. Pages clean and unmarked. Note in pencil on rear attached endpaper. Overall, in very good condition. A scarce piece of children's literature specifically written to inspire and engage Black students. Written by two DC public school teachers; Roy worked at Lucretia Mott Elementary School and Turner worked at George Bell Elementary.
