Pavlov: 'Allgemeine Technik der physiologischen Versuche und Vivisektionen', 'Die operative Methodik des Studiums der Verdauungsdrusen' and another by S.Garten: 'Die photographische Registrierung', 'Electrophysiologie', but the chapters by Burker, von Frey & O. Fischer on muscle physiology are also particularly thorough, Rubner on the 'Kalorimeter' and Frank on the kymograph might be noted by historians of research technology.
