Library sticker to fep and stamp to title page unusually the Derby Railway Library. Remains of d/w stuck to inside of back cover. Pages evenly tanned and with large type makes a pleasant read. Binding not tight but nothing loose.

Covers are lightly rubbed at crown and foot of spine, with minor wear and some spotting along edges. Binding is tight and secure. Pages are clean with uniform toning, lightly spotted on edges. 26 B&W illustrations, including frontispiece. No date on title page or copyright page. Previous owner's name written on front free endpaper. A nice copy. This volume comes from the Broadcasting collection of Prof. Chris Sterling. Sterling was a professor of media and public affairs at George Washington University and an avid book collector.
