Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 287pp including a list of 8 maps, an appendix list chronology of wars between 1832-1932 and a list of references chapter by chapter. The blue cloth boards have dark blue lettering on the spine, there is fading top and bottom of the book, including the spine where the dust jacket has torn. The dust jacket is cream with red lettering, it has one or two further chips and looks a little grubby with age. The text though is clean and includes 8 maps and it is a tight and readable copy.
