First separate publication with these illustrations but originally published in 'Enid Blyton's Lucky Story Book' in 1947 under the title, "It Was Only A Little Thing.' Rusty staple marks showing through the cloth over the spine. The boards have some light edge rubbing and a little discolouration. Prize label from Bigton School in Shetland to the inside of the front cover. This label is browned around the edges. The title page and first page of the text have some brown spotting and there is lighter spotting through the book. Illustrated throughout in colour. First printing. No jacket as issued.
