Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. First edition thus, reprinted from Veterinary Medicine December, 1939. Quarto. 160pp. Blue cloth, black stamping. Neat owner name, near fine. Published after the 7th World's Poultry Congress in Cleveland when an effort was made to interest veterinarians in serving the poultry industry, and to induce the poultry raisers to avail themselves of skilled veterinarian service. At this time the poultry mortality rate ran from 20% to 50%.
