Bound in green cloth with an elaborate illustration impressed onto covers; Covers are unmarred and clean. All lettering readable. DJ is very colorful but with light edge wear. Tiny closed tear along top edge of spine. Slip case is fully intact but lightly rubbed, with some wear on corners and opening. See pictures. Interior pages clean without writing, creases, or tears. Binding tight as if never read only displayed. End papers are beautiful green marbled design - very classic, and are fully intact and unmarred except for a small surface scrape in the gutter of back board. Unusual to find a book that is over 56+ years old, in such fine condition. Note: We use "Fine" book condition judiciously; only when the book exhibits no flaws. A Fine book closely approaches 'As New' condition and may not have been previously owned. Any flaws (writing, tears, creases) are exceptions to a Fine condition and should be clearly described for a book and dust jacket.
