Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Henry Grelardon, cover art by Jaques Fortin (illustrator). Written in French. Many, many illustrations, including 8 full-page ones in color. The book is very solidly bound. As you can see from the photographs there is color fading on the covers. There are also minor specks of soiling. The corners and spine ends have little to no wear. And the book has a tightly fitted, well fitted, plastic protective cover. It's possible that it was published with this cover. My guess is that it was placed on by a previous owner. The pages (176) are very clean and bright. I didn't see any markings. There is no writing or underlining in the text. There are three penciled initials at the top corner of the front free end paper which is a perfectly clean red color. Such is the case for the rear end paper as well as the inside front and rear cover. This 1958 edition is quite rare. In fact, I found only one other for sale on the Internet. That one is priced at around $100. It is rated Good but doesn't seem to have the color fading on the covers.
