Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Boards are quite edge worn, bumped, stained in places, inscription on front free endpaper, crack along back hinge. From the collection of Pulitzer nominated historian Gloria Grace Griffen, whose bookplate is adhered to front paste down.

Yellow cloth covers with mounted cavalryman on front cover with drawn sword. Red lettering and black embossed decorations, spine lettering is faded, corners worn former owners name stamp on front end pages twice and there is a small museum sticker inside front cover.
