Green cloth, spine titled in gilt. Smells very musty, boards bowed. Working copy only in dust-wrapper. An extremely detailed look at preserving all manner of natural history specimens. The first volume, published in 1955, dealt with the preservation of invertebrates. This, the second and final volume, "embraces the preservation of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals as well as botanical and geological material. In addition, special sections deal with casting reptiles and amphibians as well as the modelling of whales and the modelling and casting of relief maps." .
