This is a nice copy of a nonfiction science book about electron tubes called the Electron Tubes in Industry, copyright 1952, third edition, hard cover, dust jacket, written by Keith Henney and james D. Fahnestock. The book has previous owners name and address on inside front cover, black marker scribble on first end page, otherwise in good plus condition with tight binding, new archival mylar wrap on dust jacket, nice gilt lettering on spine cover and 353 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Decorative Cloth. Condition: Good. John Fahnestock, engraver (illustrator). The sub-title is One With Christ in Glory, with a Revised Text from a Critical Greek Text and the Authorized Version Illuminated. The text on pages 7-64 is commentary about John chapter 17. Pages 65-125 are printed on the right hand pages only and have the text of John 17 with engraved, color illumination around the words. Some of the words are in black type, but many are in green, red, or gilt, the same as the illuminations. Pages 93 and 95 are bound in switched places of each other. A decorative red border is around the text and engravings. The text block ends have gilt. The boards are beveled. An errata slip states a different street address for the publisher than what is printed on the title page. The ends of the spine strip and the boards' front corners are frayed. About a third of the cloth is mottled with small, faded spots, made by dampness or an insect. About half of the back board has darkened a little. The title page has darkened, has a chipped corner. Most of its front margin has closed tears which are joined together with tape on the reverse side. Soiling on the pages is sparse, small, and light. Scans e-mailed upon request.
