Cover Art; This is a thin, trade sized booklet with illustrated covers and a stapled spine. The booklet is in Near Fine condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some beginning bumping and rubbing. The text pages are clean and bright. "The principal pseudonym of Japanese-born bibliographer, librarian (attaining the rank of Professor at California State University in 1984) , publisher, editor and author Michael Roy Burgess (1948-2013) , in the US from his early years; as Robert (or as R) Reginald he published his most important bibliographical and critical work in the sf field, including his first essay, "Anatomy of a Phenomenon" (Spring 1968 Charter: Journal of Liberal Arts) , which was assembled with later work in Xenograffiti: Essays on Fantastic Literature (coll 1996; rev vt Xenograffiti: Essays on Fantastic Literature and Other Divers Topics, Second Edition 2005) ; almost all his fiction was under this name, though his first tale, The Attempted Assassination of John F. Kennedy: A Political Fantasy (1976 chap; rev vt If J. F. K. Had Lived: A Political Scenario 1982 chap with Jeffrey M Elliot) was initially released as by Lucas Webb; it is an Alternate-History tale in which monarchies have been retained worldwide and Kennedy is not killed. Not books but three 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm vinyl record albums by three good-looking hunks not initially famed for their tune stylings. A Merchant Marine veteran and former football star, the 6-foot-six Clint Walker passed a Warner Brothers' screen test in 1955 and was immediately signed to the leading role in the new TV series "Cheyenne." Roger Smith is billed here as the "Star of (Warner Bros. TV series) "77 Sunset Strip" (apparently no one wanted Efrem Zimbalist, Jr, to take his shirt off, though the producers actually scored better on vinyl with the show's parking lot attendant, Edd "Kookie" Burns.) Smith here reprises songs he reportedly used to sing for coins on the beach at Waikiki, plus "Beach Time," written especially for this album by Ray and Dick Sherman. (Both those albums 1959.) Our third album, Marina Records MRA-2501, a DJ white-label promo disc from 1971, near-mint vinyl in a very-good jacket, produced by Nino Tempo (who plays the sax solo on the Goffin-King number "Hey Girl"), features the blue-eyed Chad Everett, who starred as Dr. Joe Gannon on the CBS TV series "Medical Center." The package of three LPs now reduced from $22.
