The first is an 80pp catalogue of 119 contemporary artists's and illustrated books published c. 1900 to c. 1933, all or most illustrated in colour. Brief artist biographies at rear. It was curated by Mikhail Karasik who wrote the introductory text (plus essay by Gleb Ershov). The second book is a 32pp detailed catalogue of 21 works illustrated and made by Karasik (edited by Irina Freshko, essay by Galina Nosova), all or most illustrated in colour (ISBN 5827600091) . The books are housed in a variant plain thin card slip-case. . [CONDITION: Both books and all inserts are AS NEW, the slip-case is very slightly tanned but otherwise FINE. An excellent set ] .
