Some pages are dog-earred. Covers remain in good condition with minimal tanning and little creasing. Slipcase has severe bumping. Moderate tanning to slipcase. White staining present.

Condition: Good. 1973. Facsimilie Edition. 160 pages. Illustrated paper covers. Black and white photographic plates. Light tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges and reverse of covers. Hinges are lightly cracked but covers remain firmly attached. Paper covers have light edge-wear and corner curling with mild creasing and scuffing overall. Spine has minor rolling and creasing.

Hard Cover. Condition: Fair. First Edition. 128 + xlii pp, illus, portraits, large format (24x31cms) original green and maroon cloth with gilt badge and titles, the text block is in fine condition (almost like new!). Sadly the boards, whilst present, are no longer attached Spine is well worn.

Soft cover. Condition: Fine. Photos (illustrator). Facsimile. This is a boxed softcover with the box having a bit of scuffing and a few tears. The book has previous owner name on title page. 160pp plus 89 pages of adverts. etc.

Both boards have some mottling and foxing and the text block edges show soil and light foxing. Some wear to the corners. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. A facsimile reprint of the 1906 history by Ernest J. Chambers and originally published by The Mortimer Press in Montreal. Illustrated in black and white. Part of the Coles Canadiana Collection. Very gently read. 3cm deep and 10cm horizontal damp stain, varies from moderate to mostly faint, to the head of each page. Otherwise, the interior is surprisingly, quite clean. Front gutter is cracked but firmly attached. Fold out maps to the rear are in excellent condition with some light soiling to show. Blue cloth boards are gently bumped and rubbed to extremities. Gilt titles to the front board and bright. Moderate to heavy soiling and staining to the boards and spine. Priced accordingly.

Printed paper cover is clean but has wear and creasing along edges, especially at corners. Lies in a box with mild age toning along edges with some fraying at corners and a small spot of sticker residue at top front corner. Pages are unmarked and slightly age toned, held tight by binding.

It is a large format paperback (approx. size is 8-1/2" x 11") in it's original slipcase, which is clean but has cracking along upper edge. Book is cover is clean and bright, no tears or chipping, light creasing to spine. Pages and edges are clean. No names, writing or marks. Illustrated with black and white photographs. 160 pages with Appendix, plus pages and pages of interesting advertising at rear of book for everything from horses and farm implements to lumber, rifles and hotels.
