Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Eisner (illustrator). Second Edition. Thriller Book Club edition. Given as Reprinted 1963. First published in the UK by Heinemann in 1962. Originally published in the US by Morrow in 1956. The boards have a heavy bump to the bottom rear corner and some light bumping to the other corners. Browning to the edges of the pages with quite heavy brown spotting - particularly to the fore edges. Previous owner's name and date in ink to the front free endpapper. Spotting to the pages at the front and back of the book but apart from spotting at the edges the pages are otherwise generally unmarked. The jacket has a one inch closed tear at the base of the spine, some edge rubbing and the rear panel has some discolouration. Jacket illustration by Eisner.
