Soft cover. 1st Edition. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges. Previous owner has added a bookplate to inside front cover. Pages are sunned. Interior and binding are still very good. A wonderfully authentic picture of life in the 1950s Wheatbelt. Farm life, country dances, sport and small-town intrigues are all meticulously and humorously recorded. Tragedy and romance are provided by a fatal accident, a handsome widower and his effect on the lives of three different women.
